About Chainlink Fencing

Chainlink fences are used in residential, recreational, industrial, commercial, and institutional settings primarily for safety and security reasons. They are often choosen for economical reasons.

Residential projects use chainlink fencing to enclose pool areas and to mark property boundaries.

Recreational applications include the fencing of play areas, park areas, baseball backstops, batting cages, and tennis courts.

In industrial, commercial, and institutional applications, chainlink fencing is used to secure work and storage areas, to restrict access to dangerous areas, and to secure goods and product yards. It can also be used for interior security compounds.

There are many different grades of chainlink fencing from 9 gauge vinyl coated products used primarily for residential settings to 6 gauge galvanized products used in institutional settings.

Privacy chainlink fences can be obtained by the installation of vinyl and aluminum coloured weaves or solid commercial fabrics. Chainlink vinyl fencing is available in a variety of colours to blend in with the surrounding area or to create an aesthetically pleasing effect.

Peninsula Construction also installs security gates in conjunction with chainlink fencing. Gates are available in a wide variety of sizes to suit the required access dimensions. They can be fully automated (i.e. keypad or card access panel) to the client’s specifications for controlled access.
